Cannes has been invaded by the Fearless Girl after taking over Wall Street. Asset manager State Street – and marketing agency McCann NY – place a statue of a girl facing the iconic charging bull statue of Wall Street. It was a part of a campaign by State Street to force businesses to add more women. The statue is crossing the gathering of executives from the media and advertising businesses, the Cannes Lions, picking up this Grand Prix in this PR Glass and Outdoor Lions classes on the first day of the festival. Artist Kristen Visbal in order for the State Street created the sculpture to call attention, Fearless Girl Statue.

The money manager said it’d vote against boards if a business failed to take steps to improve its number, and mentioned gender diversity as a way to increase business performance and improve shareholder value. For us, while it is a woman, it captures our path and women’s journeys. And additionally, it encapsulates our aspirations for every girl on earth and our hopes. Clark also drew attention to business results of State Street, including a 374 percent rise in the magnitude of the so called SHE finance – its SSGA Gender Diversity Index, Fearless Girl Statue.
